Job summary

Guardian Glass is seeking an Architectural Design & Specification Engineer to drive demand creation and increase project specifications across the DACH region. You will develop relationships with architects, façade consultants, developers, and glazing contractors while guiding projects from concept to shipment.

You will combine commercial engagement with technical glazing expertise to secure specifications and support growth, collaborating with Sales, TAC, Marketing, and cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering. If Business or Project Management, must combine with commercial experience.
• Proven experience in customer-facing commercial roles or project-oriented roles.
• Strong commercial mindset to build relationships and drive project conversion.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management.
• Fluency in German and English for engagement across the DACH region.
• Willingness to travel across the DACH region.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize high-potential indirect accounts in the DACH region.
• Build and maintain relationships with architects, developers, and glazing contractors to increase specifications.
• Promote Guardian SunGuard and glazing solutions during design/specification phases.
• Use technical expertise to recommend glazing solutions based on project requirements.
• Support customers with Guardian’s design tools and resources.
• Track opportunities through Salesforce from concept to shipment and ensure data accuracy.
• Collaborate with ADMs, TSMs, TAC, Marketing to maximize project conversion.
• Monitor progress and mitigate risks to specification retention.
• Share market feedback to support continuous improvement.
