Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a skilled System Engineer to join our automotive team in Łódź. You will develop and document vehicle functions, analyze customer requirements, and ensure delivery of features across cross-functional teams.

This role emphasizes safety, electronics, and system-level thinking within cutting-edge automotive projects. Ideal candidates have 4+ years in automotive system engineering, strong Functional Safety knowledge, and solid English communication.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in System Engineering within automotive sector.
• Solid knowledge of Functional Safety and its application in automotive systems.
• Understanding of automotive electronics and measurement basics.
• Experience with vehicle function development, system requirements, and technical specifications.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, software/test engineers, and external vendors.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot vehicle features from test-drive and validation results.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain technical documentation for vehicle functions.
• Lead alignment, implementation, and delivery of assigned features.
• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into system-level solutions.
• Support calibration and tuning of features on the car line.
• Define product parameters according to customer requirements.
• Coordinate teams and vendors for proper feature implementation.
• Analyze feature performance under test-drive conditions.
• Collaborate with software and test engineers throughout development.
• Participate in system reviews and project meetings.
• Maintain technical contact with customers on projects.
• Support technical innovations and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure activities meet quality standards and schedules.
