A technology firm in Karachi is seeking an experienced developer to create and maintain web-based applications using the .NET framework. Ideal candidates will have over 5 years of development experience and expertise in ASP.NET and MS SQL Server. This role demands strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with both on-site and offshore teams.

- Strong experience in web and database programming.

Essential Duties/Requirements for this job:Strong background developing Web based application leveraging the .NET 4 FrameworkContribute to the architecture and design of Web based applications and systems and also develop the sameMaintenance of our .NET product on a daily basisKeep up to date with the latest technology and also help find the right solution for any given requirement
Specific Technical skills needed:5+ years of overall development experience with a strong background in Object Oriented development methodologiesSenior level experience with web development and database programming using ASP.NET and MS SQL Server 20053-4+ years experience designing and developing enterprise level Web applications using HTML, DHTML, ASP.NET,VB.NET, AJAX 1.0, Visual Studio and SQL Server 2005Good understanding of .NET Framework 2.0 & 3.5 knowledge is requiredExperience in XML, XSLT, XPATHExperience with XML Web servicesExperience with Web Service Security is a plusExperience with GDI+ is a plusShould have solid experience with Sql Server 2005Should have experience with AJAX 1.0LINQ Knowledge is a plusExperience with Associations/Association Management Software a plusTeam Skills required:Ability to work with on-site and offshore development teamsAnalytical Skills:Ability to supplement basic job skills with creative problem solvingInterpersonal Skills:Must be result oriented and self-motivatedWork Environment:Team: 40%Individual: 60%
