Job summary

GoLean Health is seeking a highly organized Virtual Medical Assistant to support a pediatric practice during pre-opening and growth. You will handle admin and personal assistant tasks for the physician, coordinating meetings, calendars, and vendor relationships, and assisting with clinic setup.

As patient volume grows, responsibilities shift toward front-office and medical administrative support, including scheduling, intake, insurance verification, and patient communication.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is REQUIRED.
• 1+ years experience as Medical Virtual Assistant or similar healthcare support role.
• Strong administrative, organizational, calendar-management, and task-management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English with patients, families, vendors, and healthcare professionals.
• Strong spreadsheet skills and ability to organize information, research, projects, and workflows independently.
• Startup-style environment with evolving responsibilities and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage physician's calendars with meetings, deadlines, agendas, and prep materials.
• Attend administrative and vendor meetings, take notes, document actions, and follow up.
• Proactively track deadlines, projects, and tasks without reminders.
• Handle incoming patient inquiries via calls, emails, texts, and messages.
• Coordinate end-to-end patient scheduling and intake, including insurance details.
• Develop SOPs and document recurring workflows to improve processes.
