Job summary

Go Lean Health is seeking a highly organized Virtual Medical Assistant to support a pediatrics practice during pre-opening and growth. You will blend executive support with front-office tasks, coordinating calendars, meetings, and projects while preparing the clinic for patient care.

As patient volume grows, you will transition toward scheduling, intake, insurance verification, and patient communication, ensuring a smooth, patient-centered experience in a remote, part-time role.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is REQUIRED.
• 1+ years experience as Medical Virtual Assistant or healthcare admin support.
• Strong administrative, organizational, calendar-management, and task-management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English with patients, families, vendors, and healthcare professionals.
• Highly proactive and able to work independently in a startup-style environment.
• Comfortable using secure networks and clinic systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage executive calendars, meetings, deadlines, agendas, and prep materials.
• Attend vendor meetings, take notes, track action items, and follow up.
• Coordinate front-office communications, scheduling, and patient inquiries.
• Verify patient insurance and complete eligibility verifications.
• Research vendors and clinic equipment, compare options, and organize findings.
• Document recurring workflows and create clear SOPs for clinic processes.
