Job summary

Go Lean Health is seeking a highly organized Virtual Medical Assistant to support a pediatric practice during pre-opening and early growth. This remote, part-time role starts at 30 hours per week and will gradually expand as patient volume grows.

You will handle executive and front-office tasks, patient scheduling, insurance verification, and documentation in eClinicalWorks, adapting to evolving priorities in a startup environment while delivering a patient-centered experience.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) is REQUIRED.
• 1+ years as Medical Virtual Assistant or similar healthcare support role.
• Strong administrative, organizational, calendar-management and task-management skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English with professional patient communication.
• Strong spreadsheet skills and ability to organize information independently.
• Highly proactive and able to own tasks in a startup-style environment.
• Multi-tasking with strong attention to detail and secure networks usage.

Responsibilities

• Executive, Administrative & Calendar Support: manage physician calendars, attend meetings, document actions, and track deadlines.
• Front Office & Patient Communication: handle calls/emails/texts, assist scheduling and patient inquiries.
• Patient Scheduling, Intake & Registration: coordinate appointments and collect demographic/insurance data.
• Insurance Verification & Admin Support: verify coverage and document findings for the practice.
• Vendor Research & Project Coordination: compare options, organize findings, and track timelines.
• Process Documentation & SOP Development: create SOPs and continuously improve workflows.
