Job summary

Watsons Personal Care Stores (Philippines), Inc. is seeking a Transport Operations Coordinator to oversee daily transport activities at the Distribution Center.

You will schedule dispatches, monitor deliveries, and ensure timely updates and documentation in alignment with operational standards. Ideal candidates possess a relevant degree and at least 1 year of transport or logistics coordination experience, with strong analytical, coordination, and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or related field is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in transport operations or logistics coordination preferred.
• Analytical and detail-oriented mindset is essential.
• Strong coordination and communication skills are necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic warehouse systems is expected.
• Organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport activities including schedules, dispatch requirements, delivery updates and follow-ups.
• Monitor truck availability, route assignments, fill rates, and backloads.
• Maintain transport trackers and reports.
• Monitor service levels and transport KPIs.
• Identify exceptions and escalate performance gaps promptly.
• Coordinate with Warehouse Operations, 3PL partners and stakeholders on transport issues.
• Monitor vendor activities and service performance.
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of transport documentation.
• Maintain system transactions and operational reports per procedures.
• Provide operational support to the Supervisor and internal/external stakeholders.

About the role

You will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring daily transport operations of the assigned Distribution Center, ensuring accurate and timely execution of transport activities, reporting, documentation, and issue follow-through. You will support transport performance monitoring, resource utilization, vendor coordination, and process compliance while working closely with the Supervisor and relevant stakeholders to maintain efficient transport operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport activities including schedules, dispatch requirements, delivery updates, and operational follow-ups

• Monitor truck availability, utilization, route assignments, fill rates, and backload opportunities

• Maintain transport trackers and reports

• Monitor service levels and operational KPIs

• Identify exceptions and ensure timely escalation and follow-through of performance gaps

• Coordinate with Warehouse Operations, Rank & File personnel, 3PL partners, and other stakeholders on transport issues, delays, and service disruptions

• Monitor vendor activities and service performance

• Ensure completeness and accuracy of transport documentation

• Maintain system transactions, trackers, and operational reports in accordance with established procedures

• Provide operational support to the Supervisor and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field

• At least 1 year of experience in transport operations, logistics coordination, or a similar role preferred
