Job Description

The Transport Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring transportation activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and safe delivery of goods. This role involves daily coordination with drivers, transport providers, warehouse teams, and customers to meet operational requirements and service level agreements (SLAs).

• Plan and coordinate daily transport schedules, routes, and vehicle assignments
• Monitor vehicle availability, utilization, and delivery performance
• Coordinate with drivers and transport providers regarding trip instructions, delivery timelines, and route changes
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, safety standards, and company policies
• Track deliveries, handle delays or incidents, and provide real-time updates to stakeholders
• Prepare and maintain transport documents such as trip tickets, delivery receipts, and gate passes
• Verify freight costs, billing, and transport-related charges for accuracy
• Investigate transport incidents, delays, or damages and prepare incident reports when required
• Coordinate with warehouse and operations teams to align loading and dispatch schedules
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, vehicle usage, and driver attendance
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize routes, reduce costs, and improve service levels.

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)

At least 2 years experience in transport coordination, logistics, or 3PL operations

Experience handling multiple clients and SLA-based operations

Knowledge of transport regulations, safety compliance, and fleet management

Proficient in MS Excel and transport

Strong coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Willing to work in shifting schedules and fast-paced operations
