Job summary

Remitly is seeking a People Business Partner to shape how our teams grow, perform, and stay engaged across our Manila operations. You’ll partner with leaders, guide staffing, rewards, and development, and drive People programs from design to implementation.

This role offers real seat-at-the-table influence, exposure to senior stakeholders, and the chance to lead data-driven initiatives. You’ll collaborate with HR and LOBs to align local employment laws with global policies while championing

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a People Business Partner or similar HR generalist role.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, HR Management, or related field (preferred).
• Solid grounding in HR best practices and local labor law.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to ensure understanding of People strategies and timely implementation of initiatives.
• Provide guidance on staffing, total rewards, talent development, and retention.
• Support leaders in talent development and employee discipline with recommended action plans.
• Ensure data-driven conversations with stakeholders and communicate global/local People initiatives.
• Lead learning sessions on various People topics and drive culture adoption.
• Assist with onboarding and payroll/benefits alongside People Operations.
