Job summary

Metrobank in the Philippines seeks a client-focused banking professional to drive growth of the bank’s loan and deposit portfolios by managing end-to-end client relationships—from business development to credit evaluation and deal structuring.

You will deliver tailored financial solutions across loans, treasury, trade, and transaction banking products, while ensuring credit quality, risk management, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 3–5 years of account management experience, preferably in banking/financial services.
• Strong credit evaluation and financial statement analysis background.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings, calls, and check-ins.
• Monitor client accounts and address issues to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities, including prospecting and engaging potential clients.
• Understand client needs and offer banking solutions across loans, deposits, trade, and treasury products.
• Evaluate client creditworthiness and prepare loan proposals with financial analysis and structuring.
• Coordinate with internal teams to secure approvals and ensure timely processing of transactions.
• Manage and monitor assigned portfolio, track performance and identify early risks.
• Ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements with proper documentation.
