Job summary

Ubiquity in Bacolod is seeking a Payroll Master to ensure accurate payroll processing, compliance, and timely reporting. You will handle multi-state or international payroll, audits, and system improvements.

The role requires 3–5 years of payroll experience, a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance/business administration, strong Excel skills, and CPP preferred. Graveyard shift onsite is expected.

• Address complex payroll discrepancies and provide escalation support.
• Oversee compliance, tax payments, and year-end payroll filings.
• Work graveyard shift onsite at Bacolod to engage with stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:

• Data Accuracy & Auditing:Conducting reconciliations and performingpayrollaudits to confirm compliance with internal controls and legal regulations.
• Process, tools and system Improvement:Identifying operational gaps, implementing new procedures, andenhancing overall efficiency.
• System Management:Utilizing both manual and advancedpayrollsystems to managepayrolldata and generate reports.
• Escalation Support:Addressing complexpayrolldiscrepancies and responding to high-level employee inquiries.
• Compliance & Reporting:Overseeing tax payments, year-end accountabilities, andpayrolltax filings.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience:Minimum 3–5 years ofpayrollexperience, often including multi-state or internationalpayroll.
• Education:Bachelor’s degree in accountingccounting, Finance, or Business Administration is preferred.
• Technical Skills:Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs) andpayrollsoftware.
• Knowledge:Strong understanding of labor laws, tax regulations, andpayrollprinciples.
• Soft Skills:High level of confidentiality, analytical mindset, and strong communication skills.
• Certification:CertifiedPayrollProfessional (CPP) designation is preferred.

Additional Requirement

• Will be working on a graveyard shift e.g., 8 pm or 9 pm onwards, physically present onsite (site (Bacolod) to ensure stakeholders' needs, meetings, andpayrollinitiatives are attended
