Job summary

Ubiquity is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end payroll processes in the Philippines, ensuring accurate tax calculations and regulatory compliance. You will consolidate timekeeping, handle leaves, and prepare government filings such as 2316 and SSS/Philhealth/HDMF remittances.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of payroll experience in a BPO or shared services setup, with strong knowledge of manual tax computation, and a customer-first mindset to support employees and HR/Finance

Qualifications

• Has an experience processing payroll for a BPO or Shared Services Company for 1-2 years.
• In-depth knowledge in manual computation of tax, overtime, night differential, etc.
• Intensive experience in processing of BIR annualization.
• Understand the dependencies that exist within the HR and Finance department.
• Must be updated with Payroll Regulations and Information of the country
• Must possess a “customer first” mindset

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing.
• Consolidate Timekeeping Reports from different departments.
• In-charge in tracking the leaves of employees.
• Prepares 2316 and Final Pay computation for the resigned employees.
• Prepares payroll reports, journal entries, funding requirements and other needed reports for the Finance team.
• Investigate and resolve payroll queries and accommodate payroll disputes ahead of time.
• Prepares user manual for employee use.
• In-charge in processing Government statutory such as HDMF, Philhealth and SSS Remittances and Loans every month.
• Reconciliate year to date income and prepare the Alpha listing report to be submitted to BIR.
• Attend inquiries of the employees regarding Payroll and benefits.
• Conduct payroll orientation for new hires.
• Understand the dependencies that exist within the HR and Finance department.
• Identify and propose solutions for process improvements.
• Assist with special projects, as requested.

• Assist with special projects, as requested.

• Intensive experience in processing of BIR annualization.
• Understand the dependencies that exist within the HR and Finance department.
