Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/IS/BA or related field.
• 3–5 years IT support/retail systems, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
• Experience with retail/wholesale systems including POS, inventory, merchandising, or ERP.

Makro Philippines (CP Axtra AC Corporation) is looking for a Section Manager – Store System Support who is responsible for managing the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of store technology systems that support retail and wholesale operations. This role ensures the stability, security, and efficiency of point-of-sale (POS), inventory management, pricing, merchandising, and other operational systems. The Section Manager leads the Store System Support team, coordinates with IT, operations, and vendors, and ensures timely resolution of system issues to minimize business disruptions and enhance operational performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in IT support, retail systems, or business applications, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience supporting retail and wholesale systems, including POS, inventory management, merchandising, or ERP applications.
• Knowledge of system implementation, user support, and incident management processes.
• Experience coordinating with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and retail technology platforms.
• Willing to work flexible schedules and provide support during system rollouts, weekends, holidays, or emergency situations when required.
