Job summary

Octal Philippines Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented IT Technical Support Specialist – ERP/POS to assist users with ERP concerns, troubleshoot errors, and support daily operations at our Meycauayan site.

You will maintain hardware, ensure network reliability, and coordinate with ERP providers to resolve issues. Experience with ERP or POS systems is a plus; basic SQL and Windows know-how are helpful for reporting and access management.

Qualifications

• Graduate of BS Information Technology or a related course.
• Experience in IT support or ERP systems is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems, printers, and basic networking.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Patient and service-oriented when assisting users with different levels of technical knowledge.
• Willing to work onsite at El Camino, Ema Town Center, Meycauayan, Bulacan.

Responsibilities

• Support ERP modules and workflows related to sales, inventory, purchasing, billing, and reporting, as applicable.
• Assist users with transactions, system navigation, data entry, and troubleshooting.
• Assist with user account setup, password resets, permissions, and access management.
• Investigate and resolve basic software errors, login issues, transaction problems, and system access concerns.
• Troubleshoot computers, printers, barcode scanners, POS terminals, and other connected devices.
• Monitor internet connectivity and local network performance to help ensure uninterrupted ERP operations.
• Document reported issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in a support log or ticketing system.
• Coordinate with the ERP provider /technical team to escalade unresolved issues.
• Provide user guidance and basic training on ERP features and standard operating procedures.

• Experience handling support requests, incident logs, and user training.
