Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Systems Senior Manager to lead the optimization, governance, and continuous improvement of restaurant management systems across stores and commissaries. This role will oversee system enhancements, process standardization, inventory systems, operational reporting, and technology-driven initiatives that improve restaurant efficiency and business performance.
The Senior Manager will work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Procurement, and other business units to ensure that restaurant systems are reliable, scalable, and aligned with operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management, optimization, and continuous improvement of restaurant management systems.
- Develop and implement system strategies, processes, and controls aligned with business and operational objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve restaurant processes through system enhancements, automation, and technology.
- Oversee system configuration, enhancements, integrations, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment.
- Drive standardization of restaurant processes, system workflows, and operating procedures across stores and commissaries.
- Monitor inventory-related systems and processes to ensure data accuracy, stock integrity, reconciliation, and compliance.
- Analyze operational, inventory, and system performance data to identify gaps, trends, and improvement opportunities.
- Lead cross-functional projects involving Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, Procurement, and Commissary teams.
- Manage system implementation, upgrades, rollouts, and change management initiatives.
- Develop KPIs, dashboards, reports, and analytics to monitor system and operational performance.
- Establish system governance, documentation, controls, and user guidelines.
- Manage and develop the Restaurant Systems team, providing coaching, direction, and performance management.
- Coordinate with vendors and technology partners to ensure effective system support and project delivery.
- Provide recommendations to senior management on system improvements, operational efficiencies, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and established system and operational controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Management Engineering, Information Systems, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8–12 years of experience in restaurant systems, operations excellence, inventory management, business process improvement, ERP/RMS implementation, or related functions.
- At least 5 years of leadership or managerial experience.
- Strong experience in restaurant operations, inventory systems, process improvement, and operational technology.
- Proven experience in implementing, upgrading, or optimizing RMS, ERP, POS, inventory, or other restaurant technology platforms.
- Experience in the restaurant, QSR, food service, retail, or hospitality industry is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and technology implementations.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business intelligence/reporting tools is preferred.
