Job summary

foodpanda is seeking a Business Development Executive in Metro Manila to acquire new restaurant partners and drive growth across Caloocan, Malabon, and Navotas. The role involves cold calling, fieldwork, and virtual presentations to close deals and present foodpanda packages to vendors.

You will collaborate with multiple departments to incubate vendors, exceed sales targets, and help maintain a healthy market share. Strong field sales experience and CRM familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, mass communication or related area preferred.
• 1-2 years experience in sales, business development, upselling and similar areas, preferably with field sales.
• Good understanding of Sales Pipeline Management.
• Good communication skills, English, Filipino, and local dialect preferred.
• Open for fresh graduates; internship experience in sales is acceptable.
• Extensive fieldwork within Caloocan, Malabon, Navotas Area.
• Persuasive and highly motivated to over-achieve sales targets.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with customers.
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM is an advantage.
• Self-motivated team player in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new restaurants to partner with us.
• Close deals with target restaurants by cold calling, fieldwork, virtual presentations, etc.
• Effectively present foodpanda’s packages to potential vendors.
• Work with other departments to incubate vendors.
• Exceed sales goals and drive volume with performance-based incentives.
• Be the local representative in the area: monitor competitor activities and provide recommendations.
• Gather feedback from partner restaurants and provide improvements to management.
