Go Lean Health is seeking a focused Medical Virtual Assistant (MVA) to support a busy chiropractic clinic remotely. This role suits someone who is sharp, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of owning clinic workflows with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate will handle insurance verification, claims processing, EOBs, patient balances, and reporting while maintaining excellent English communication and professional presence. Mac OS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant
• Experience supporting a US healthcare practice
• Experience with insurance verification, EOBs, claims, denied claims, patient balances, or billing support
• Exposure to CPT and ICD-10 codes
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong executive presence and professional communication style
• Must be a Mac OS user
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proven leadership, ownership, or high-accountability experience in a previous role

Responsibilities

• Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance after check-in and document accuracy
• Denied Claims Management: Review denials and assist with reprocessing
• EOB Processing: Review, organize, and clear EOB backlogs
• Patient Balance Resolution: Track balances and coordinate resolution steps
• Claims Processing: Support CPT/ICD-10 related claims, including Cigna/VA
• Payment Coordination: Assist with vendor payments when needed
• SOAP Note Monitoring: Track documentation accuracy and timeliness
• Appointment Tracking: Monitor missed/canceled appointments and trends
• Reports and Operational Tracking: Prepare and present insightful metrics
• Team Coordination: Ensure clear communication among provider and staff
• Operational Support: Identify workflow gaps and propose improvements
