Go Lean Health is seeking a Medical Virtual Assistant (MVA) to support a busy chiropractic clinic remotely. The role rewards sharp, proactive, detail-oriented candidates who can own clinic workflows with minimal supervision.

Ideal candidates will handle insurance verification, claims processing, EOBs, patient balances, and reporting, while maintaining strong English communication and professional presence. 30 hours per week, remote, with a $5–$6.50 per hour rate and a performance-based increase

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year as Medical Virtual Assistant.
• Experience supporting a US healthcare practice.
• Experience with insurance verification, EOBs, claims, denied claims, patient balances, or billing support.
• Exposure to CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must be a Mac OS user.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proven ownership or high-accountability in prior roles.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance after check-in and document accurately.
• Review denied claims and assist with reprocessing.
• Review and clear EOB backlogs and ensure accurate documentation.
• Resolve outstanding patient balances and coordinate next steps.
• Support claims workflows for provider and VA claims.
• Coordinate vendor payments and ensure timely tasks.
• Monitor SOAP notes for completeness and compliance.
• Track appointments, trends, and scheduling impact on revenue.
• Prepare operational reports with insights and recommendations.
• Facilitate team communication and ensure task follow-through.
