Job summary

GoLean Health is seeking a Medical Virtual Assistant to support a busy chiropractic clinic. The role requires sharp, proactive, detail-oriented work with ownership of clinic workflows and strong English communication.

You will help reduce provider administrative load, handle billing-related tasks, and collaborate with the care team. The ideal candidate can think ahead, identify gaps, and work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication, written and verbal.
• Proactive, detail-oriented with high accountability.
• Ability to think ahead and own clinic workflows with minimal supervision.
• Experience supporting a US healthcare practice preferred.
• Mac OS user required.

Responsibilities

• Insurance verification after patient check-in and accurate documentation.
• Denial management: review, reasons, reprocessing and follow-up.
• Process EOBs, organize backlog and maintain billing accuracy.
• Review patient balances and coordinate resolution steps.
• Support claims workflows and escalation for denied or complex cases.
• Assist with vendor payments and check processing.
• Monitor SOAP notes for completeness and compliance.
• Track missed/cancelled appointments and analyze trends.
• Prepare reports on balances, appointments, EOB backlog, denials.
• Coordinate with provider, care team, and admin staff.
• Identify workflow gaps and propose practical improvements.
