GoLean Health is hiring a Virtual Medical Assistant to support a U.S.-based pulmonology practice. The role combines front-desk patient communication with back-office medical records management, handling high-volume calls, appointment coordination, and HIPAA-compliant records processing.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of VMA experience, strong English communication, and familiarity with AthenaHealth EMR. This is a remote, part-time position with 30 hours per week.

Qualificações

• At least 1 year of experience as a Virtual Medical Assistant supporting U.S.-based healthcare practices.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to multitask and manage high-volume remote workflows.
• Familiarity with U.S. medical terminology and HIPAA requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Answer high-volume inbound patient calls and inquiries; confirm appointments and route requests.
• Process medical records requests and coordinate with billing while ensuring HIPAA compliance.
• Collaborate with clinical staff across locations; maintain accurate EMR documentation and SOPs.
