Job summary

ARS Logistics is seeking a remote LTL Operations Specialist to manage day-to-day LTL shipments for U.S. carriers, acting as the key link between carriers, internal teams, and customers. The role is remote, contractor-based, with start ASAP and a focus on detail, problem solving and timely communication.

You will handle tracking, invoicing checks, carrier coordination, claims, and performance monitoring in a fast-paced 3PL environment; 2+ years of LTL experience and strong English are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years LTL experience in a 3PL, broker, or LTL carrier
• Clear written/spoken English for US carriers/customers
• Familiarity with NMFC, density-based pricing, accessorials
• Experience with brokerage TMS and LTL portals
• Detail-oriented, fast-paced, reliable in remote setup

Responsibilities

• Track and trace LTL shipments from booking to delivery, flagging delays and exceptions
• Review invoices for discrepancies and advise on resolutions
• Guide customer-facing teams on order construction to optimize cost and service
• Coordinate OS&D with carriers and manage freight claims through resolution
• Monitor carrier performance and report trends to management
• Maintain accurate data in the TMS and implement process improvements
• Support general LTL ops including reporting and rate analysis
