Job summary

ARS Logistics is seeking an experienced LTL Operations Specialist to perform day-to-day execution in our remote LTL division. You will liaise with carriers, internal teams and customers to ensure accurate, timely shipments and pricing compliance.

The role requires 2+ years in LTL operations, knowledge of NMFC and accessorials, and strong English communication. Remote work setup and uptime are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years LTL experience at a U.S. freight brokerage/3PL or LTL carrier.
• Solid knowledge of NMFC classification and reading LTL freight bills.
• Experience with brokerage TMS and LTL portals (booking/tracking/docs).
• Clear, professional written and spoken English; daily US carrier/customer comms.
• Detail-oriented, accurate; able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Remote setup: backup power, internet, computer, and multiple monitors.

Responsibilities

• Track and trace LTL shipments from booking to delivery; communicate exceptions proactively.
• Review invoices for discrepancies and advise teams on billing issues.
• Guide order construction for cost, service and compliance (freight class, packaging, dims).
• Coordinate with carriers on OS&D and manage claims through resolution.
• Monitor carrier performance and report trends to management.
• Maintain data in the TMS and identify process improvements.
