Job summary

D2B is seeking a Lending Associate for a 100% remote position. The role supports Mortgage Brokers and clients throughout the end-to-end loan application process, including documentation review, credit support, and lender coordination.

Work is conducted under an Independent Contractor Agreement with AU holiday considerations and alignment to AU business hours. The candidate should be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple files with confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Experience in lending support, mortgage broking, banking, credit, loan processing, or a similar financial services environment.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple loan files and competing priorities.
• High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable reviewing financial information, including bank statements, income documents, liabilities, and supporting lending documentation.
• Ability to identify incomplete information, inconsistencies, or potential lending concerns.
• Proactive and solutions-focused, with the confidence to raise issues before they become delays.
• Strong client service skills with a warm, clear, and professional communication style.
• Ability to work independently while knowing when to escalate matters appropriately.
• Strong understanding of confidentiality and the professional handling of sensitive client information.

Responsibilities

• Review broker handover notes for completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare lending submission notes, inputs, and supporting documentation.
• Enter and maintain client, financial, and loan data across CRM and lender systems.
• Assist with servicing inputs, pricing, and valuation research.
• Package and submit complete loan applications with all required documentation.
• Coordinate with clients, brokers, lenders, and stakeholders to obtain information.
• Monitor progress and identify delays or risks early.
• Provide proactive client updates throughout the loan process.
• Maintain CRM notes and file organization; ensure confidentiality.
