Job summary

Pear Tree. is seeking a proactive Lending Associate to support Mortgage Brokers and clients through end-to-end loan applications. This hands-on role covers loan processing, document review, credit support, lender coordination, and clear client communication.

You will work remotely from the Philippines under an Independent Contractor Agreement, following AU business hours, and handle submissions, compliance checks, and ongoing file management to ensure timely settlements.

Qualifications

• Experience in lending support, mortgage broking, or a similar financial services environment.
• Strong administrative and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple loan files and competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review broker handover notes and client information to ensure completeness and accuracy.
• Prepare lending submission notes, inputs, and supporting docs.
• Enter and maintain client and loan information across CRM and lender systems.
• Package and submit complete loan applications with required docs.
• Manage applications from submission to settlement and respond to lender requests.
• Coordinate with clients, brokers, lenders and stakeholders to obtain information.
