Job summary

Core-VA Solutions is seeking an HR Generalist to join our fully remote team. The role balances employee support, compliance, recruitment, and HR operations while partnering with leadership to drive structured HR processes.

You’ll handle US payroll, onboarding/offboarding, HRIS usage, and documentation, ensuring compliant and accurate employee records across a remote, growth-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
• 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably remote supporting US companies.
• Hands-on US payroll experience (Gusto, ADP, Rippling, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of US labor laws, HR compliance, and best practices.
• Experience creating and maintaining SOPs, workflows, and process documentation.
• Comfortable using HRIS platforms and HR tech systems.
• Detail-oriented handling payroll, employee records, and compliance docs.
• Able to manage confidential employee and financial information professionally.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes from posting to screening and interview coordination.
• Support onboarding and offboarding for seamless employee experience.
• Process and assist with US payroll, benefits, and employee records.
• Serve as a reliable point of contact for employee concerns and HR queries.
• Maintain HR systems, files, compliance docs, and confidential records.
• Support employee engagement, culture programs, and retention efforts.
• Monitor compliance, policy updates, training, certifications, and HR docs.
• Assist leadership with HR projects, SOPs, reporting, and operations.
• Help create efficient systems or automations to improve the employee experience and growth.
