Job summary

OperationsArmy is seeking an HR Assistant to support the HR Manager in payroll administration, HR systems management, communications, and reporting. The role is 100% remote with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality, and timely responses in a fast-paced environment.

You will handle HR operations, employee inquiries, and coordination of postings and newsletters, while contributing to compliance reporting and planning. Prior remote HR experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with payroll administration and HR systems.
• Strong attention to detail with accuracy in data handling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; responsive and proactive.

Responsibilities

• Enter, verify, and troubleshoot timekeeping data in Paylocity.
• Assist with weekly/monthly payroll processing.
• Maintain HR documents and compliance reports.
• Respond to HR inquiries via Slack and email; escalate when needed.
• Draft job descriptions and manage postings on platforms like Indeed.
