Job summary

STAFFVIRTUAL is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Administrator (Remote) to manage Paycom HRIS, payroll, benefits, time and attendance, and HR reporting. This role partners with Finance and People & Culture as a bridge between payroll operations and financial reporting.

The position focuses on improving workflows, ensuring compliance, and supporting open enrollment, COBRA, and 401(k) administration while offering a remote work setup.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in a corporate payroll department; multi-state exposure preferred.
• Payroll/HRIS platform experience with report-writing tools and time & attendance systems.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state wage and hour laws and payroll reporting.

Responsibilities

• Process accurate, on-time bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 350+ employees in Paycom.
• Review time and attendance; remind for missing punches and unapproved timecards.
• Process change authorizations for bonuses, commissions, stipends; reconcile variable pay.
• Consolidate payroll journals with Finance leadership and complete related entries.
• Document and improve payroll policies and SOPs across business lines.
