Responsibilities

• Plan material and issue purchase requisitions to ensure stock availability.
• Prepare purchase orders based on approved requests.
• Coordinate with production on raw material availability.
• Solicit quotations, supplier accreditation letters, and samples.
• Check received items against orders.
• Coordinate with production on raw materials availability.
• Select suppliers and evaluate their performance periodically.
• Prepare forecasts for suppliers/subcon based on customer forecasts.
• Schedule deliveries to meet production plans.
• Monitor outstanding PO balances with suppliers.
• Oversee subcontract deliveries and plan accordingly.
• Forecast expenses based on customer requirements and deadlines.
• Possess multitasking capabilities.
• Support Quality and Environmental Management System projects.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible in planning material and issuance or purchase requisition of all the stocks inventory items and direct and indirect materials to ensure the consistent availability of stocks at all times at the optimum stock level
• Prepare Purchase Order of the approved Purchase Request
• Provide the necessary items to production that are needed immediately
• Ask quotations, letter of accreditation and samples from prospective suppliers
• Check and receive purchased items strictly
• Coordinate with production department regarding the availability of raw materials and important items
• Responsible in supplier selection and periodical evaluation of the supplier's performance thru comparative analysis
• Prepare and issue forecast to suppliers/ subcon based on customer forecast
• Prepares delivery schedule for direct and indirect materials and ensures the arrival of materials on time based on production plan
• Monitor pending P.O balance of supplier
• Control plan and delivery of subcon
• Provide accurate forecasted expenses based on customer requirement on the given deadline submission date
• Can function in multi-tasking job
• Actively participate and support the implementation of Quality and Environmental Management System Projects
