Job summary

FILFIRST CONCRETE INNOVATIONS INC is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to lead preventive maintenance and ensure reliability of plant equipment. You will apply engineering fundamentals, solve complex problems, and operate effectively under pressure to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities include reviewing manuals, developing maintenance programs, supervising staff, and coordinating with various locations, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• BS Mechanical Engineer degree is required.
• Licensed ME is advantageous.
• 2–3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reviews service manuals and maintenance records to determine preventive maintenance frequency.
• Develops and maintains a preventive maintenance program following industry standards.
• Assesses equipment needing preventive maintenance services.
• Responds to breakdowns, diagnoses faults, and leads repair efforts.
• Creates maintenance and requisition reports and maintains records.
• Coordinates with projects for equipment needs and supports safety training.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Reviews service manuals, and records of maintenance problems to determine maximum frequency of preventive maintenance
• Helps develop and maintain a functional preventive maintenance program/procedure while utilizing industry standards
• Provides support in implementing all aspects of the program
• Assesses machines/equipment which need preventive maintenance services
• Checks needed parts and monitors status of purchase
• Responds to equipment breakdowns and assesses/diagnoses faults
• Leads in repairing equipment
• Creates preventive maintenance and requisition reports
• Maintains and updates planned and completed maintenance records and reports
• Assists in developing and coordinating plans for reconstruction or installation of new equipment or machinery
• Coordinates with projects and assesses their equipment/machinery needs/demands
• Conducts orientation on proper equipment use
• Coordinates activities of other maintenance staff
• Performs other relevant duties as required

Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of BS Mechanical Engineer
• Licensed ME is an advantage

Training

• Occupational safety and health training
• Training on equipment repair and maintenance
