Job summary

Acme Tools Manufacturing Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and optimize the factory's preventive maintenance program. You will coordinate daily work for technicians, manage equipment records, and drive timely repairs to minimize downtime.

The role requires strong mechanical & electrical troubleshooting, plus 5+ years in maintenance within manufacturing. You will develop SOPs, train staff, and report maintenance results to management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve the factory's preventive maintenance (PM) program.
• Create and maintain equipment master lists, maintenance schedules, machine histories, and maintenance records.
• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians, assigning daily work and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, prioritize repair activities, and coordinate corrective maintenance efforts.
• Conduct root-cause analysis on recurring equipment failures and implement sustainable solutions.
• Establish maintenance SOPs, inspection standards, checklists, and documentation systems.
• Manage spare parts planning, inventory monitoring, and critical parts availability.
• Track maintenance KPIs including PM compliance, machine downtime, breakdown frequency, and corrective action closure.
• Train, coach, and develop technicians to improve technical capability and maintenance discipline.
• Provide regular maintenance performance reports and recommendations to management.

Qualifications

• With engineering degree, technical degree, or equivalent hands-on maintenance leadership experience preferred. Professional license is an advantage but not required.


• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.


• At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience managing maintenance personnel.


• Demonstrated experience creating or improving preventive maintenance systems and maintenance documentation.


• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose equipment issues systematically.
