Peerless Products Manufacturing Corp. is seeking a Preventive Maintenance Technician responsible for scheduled maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure reliability and safety.
The role involves inspecting systems, performing basic troubleshooting and minor repairs, coordinating with production teams to minimize downtime, and upholding safety standards. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or on-call may be required.
The Preventive Maintenance is responsible for carrying out scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and safety. This role plays a critical part in minimizing unplanned downtime, extending equipment life, and supporting continuous operations.
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems according to maintenance plans.
Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, damage, or potential equipment failures.
Perform basic troubleshooting, adjustments, and minor repairs to prevent breakdowns.
Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal operational disruption.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain tools, spare parts, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
Support corrective maintenance activities as needed during equipment breakdowns.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and maintenance efficiency.
Technical diploma or vocational training in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
1–3 years of experience in preventive or mechanical maintenance (manufacturing or industrial setting preferred).
Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Ability to read and interpret maintenance manuals, diagrams, and work instructions.
Willingness to work shifts, weekends, or on-call schedules, if required.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
Experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial facilities.
Relevant certification (e.g., industrial maintenance, electrical safety) will be preferred.
