ARCHEMICALS CORP. is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on plant machinery.
You will inspect equipment, troubleshoot pumps, motors, conveyors, bearings, and gearboxes, and assist in installation and fabrication. The role requires Vocational/Technical training in Mechanical Technology, NC II certification preferred, and 1–2 years of related experience in a manufacturing setting.
Graduate of Vocational/Technical Course in Mechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field
With TESDA NC II or equivalent mechanical certification is an advantage
At least 1–2 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial plant
Knowledgeable in pumps, motors, bearings, conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Basic knowledge in welding, fabrication, and mechanical alignment is an advantage
Able to read and understand mechanical drawings and technical manuals
Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools
Physically fit and willing to work in a plant environment, shifting schedules, overtime, and emergency maintenance
Strong troubleshooting, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
Must be safety-conscious and willing to follow PPE, LOTO, and other plant safety procedures
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
Inspect equipment regularly and identify potential mechanical problems.
Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, valves, and other mechanical equipment.
Perform equipment dismantling, assembly, adjustment, lubrication, and replacement of defective parts.
Assist in equipment installation, modification, and mechanical fabrication.
Perform basic welding and fabrication works when required.
Conduct mechanical alignment and adjustment of equipment.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform necessary emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
Maintain proper records of maintenance activities, repairs, and replaced parts.
Ensure proper use and safekeeping of maintenance tools and equipment.
Strictly follow company safety, housekeeping, and maintenance procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager.
