Job summary

The Medical City is seeking a Patient Care Access Associate to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors at our clinic. You will assist with general inquiries, verify information for medical care access, and help ensure a smooth patient experience across services.

You will greet patients, answer calls and emails, schedule appointments, assist with billing readiness, and support data privacy and records management in accordance with hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Greets and assists patients on arrival at the clinic.
• Answers telephone calls, emails, and responds to inquiries.
• Schedules patients according to doctor availability and clinic services.
• Secures authorization and endorsements for patient availment.
• Assists cashier in issuing receipts and invoices.
• Collects and encodes patient data to facilitate clinic transactions.
• Manages proper storage and release of medical records.
• Adheres to Data Privacy Act regarding confidentiality of patient records.
• Monitors and orders forms for HMOs and companies.
• Prepares and generate reports accordingly.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
