Qualifications

• Strong written communication for SMS, email, and patient messages.
• Experience as Virtual Medical Assistant or similar healthcare support role.
• Capable of handling high call volume in a fast-paced clinic.
• Punctual, reliable with good attendance.
• Own a Mac OS device and reliable wired internet.
• Flexible schedule with Saturday availability.

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume inbound patient calls professionally and promptly.
• Respond to texts, voicemails, emails, and fax messages promptly.
• Schedule new and existing patient appointments in MacPractice.
• Prioritize new inquiries and referrals before routine rescheduling.
• Follow up with inactive patients to reactivate and convert inquiries.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Coordinate with in-office staff to keep provider schedule full.
• De-escalate patient concerns about scheduling, billing, and insurance.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA standards.
