Job summary

GoLean Health in Cavite is seeking a Patient Care Communications Specialist to serve as the voice of the practice, handling high-volume calls, texts, and scheduling with warmth and professionalism.

You will support patient intake, follow-up, and retention, maintain accurate records in MacPractice, and ensure HIPAA compliance. Must have Mac OS device and reliable internet; Saturday availability is required; rate is $5–$6 per hour for 30–35 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken English with neutral accent.
• Strong written communication for SMS, email, and messages.
• Experience as Virtual Medical Assistant or similar healthcare support.
• Capable of high call volume in a fast-paced clinic.
• Must own a Mac OS device and have reliable high-speed internet.
• Flexible with Saturday work.

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume inbound patient calls professionally.
• Respond to texts, voicemails, emails, and faxes promptly.
• Schedule and manage appointments in MacPractice.
• Prioritize new inquiries and referral opportunities.
• Follow-up and reactivate inactive patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling notes.
• Coordinate with in-office staff to keep schedule full.
• De-escalate scheduling, billing, and insurance concerns.
• Protect patient privacy per HIPAA.
• Support missed-call follow-up workflows and improve communications.
