Job summary

Go Lean Health in Cavite, Philippines is seeking a Patient Care Communications Specialist to be the first point of contact for patients. You’ll handle calls, texts, emails, and scheduling, delivering a warm, calm, and professional experience while maintaining patient privacy and accurate records.

The role requires multitasking across channels, empathy, and strong English communication. Expected hours are 30–35 per week with Saturdays possible, based on clinic coverage.

Qualifications

• - Excellent spoken English with a clear, neutral accent.
• - Strong written communication for SMS, email, and patient messages.
• - Experience as Virtual Medical Assistant / Medical Receptionist or similar healthcare support role.
• - Able to handle high call volume in a fast-paced clinic.
• - Exhibit empathy, emotional intelligence, and sound judgment.
• - Own a Mac OS device and reliable wired internet.

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume inbound patient calls professionally and promptly.
• Respond to patient texts, voicemails, emails, and fax-related messages promptly and accurately.
• Schedule new patient appointments and manage intake in MacPractice.
• Prioritize new inquiries and referrals over routine rescheduling.
• Conduct follow-up and reactivation outreach to convert inquiries into bookings.
• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling notes.
• Coordinate with in-office staff to keep provider schedule full.
• De-escalate scheduling, billing, and insurance concerns with care.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
