Job summary

GoLean Health is seeking a Patient Care Communications Specialist to join our chiropractic clinic team in the Philippines. You will be the first point of contact for current and prospective patients, delivering a warm, calm, and professional experience across phone, text, email, and scheduling workflows.

In this high-volume role, you will handle calls, texts, and scheduling in MacPractice, coordinate with clinic staff, and help improve patient retention while maintaining HIPAA-compliant privacy

Qualifications

• Excellent spoken English with a clear, neutral accent.
• Strong written communication for SMS, email, and patient messages.
• Prior experience in healthcare support roles (Virtual Medical Assistant, Medical Receptionist, etc.).
• Comfortable handling high call volume in a fast-paced clinic.
• Strong patient service mindset and emotional intelligence.
• Able to multitask across calls, texts, emails, voicemails, faxes, and scheduling.
• Owns a Mac OS device and reliable high-speed internet.
• Flexible with schedule and Saturdays if needed.

Responsibilities

• Answer high-volume inbound patient calls professionally.
• Respond to texts, voicemails, emails, and faxes in a timely manner.
• Schedule new patient appointments and manage intake information in MacPractice.
• Prioritize new inquiries and referrals.
• Conduct follow-up and reactivation outreach for inactive patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records and scheduling notes.
• Coordinate with in-office staff to keep the provider schedule full.
• De-escalate scheduling, billing or insurance concerns.
• Listen, gather details, and offer callbacks.
• Support missed-call follow-up workflows inside Weave.
• Protect patient privacy and HIPAA compliance.
