Job summary
TTEC is seeking a Chat Technical Support Representative to work onsite in Bacolod, Philippines. You will provide first-level technical support for email hosting and messaging platforms, troubleshooting issues and guiding customers via chat, email, or other digital channels.
Typical day includes assisting with login issues, email configurations, and step-by-step solutions, while documenting interactions and escalating complex concerns as needed.
Qualifications
- Completed at least Senior High School with background in IT-related courses.
- Background in technical support or troubleshooting experience is helpful but not required.
- BPO experience is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of email systems, internet troubleshooting and computer navigation.
- Strong communication, customer service and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers with login issues, password resets, account setup and troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and resolve basic to moderately complex issues involving webmail, email clients and account configurations.
- Guide customers through step-by-step solutions with clear, professional communication.
- Document customer interactions and resolutions accurately in the system.
- Escalate unresolved or complex technical concerns to the appropriate support teams.
