Job summary

BDO Unibank's MSME division seeks an Account Officer to grow microfinance loan volumes while preserving profitability and sound credit quality, delivering excellent customer service to communities. You will actively solicit microfinance loan accounts, analyze applicants, initiate credit and collection activities, and coordinate with officers to process and service loans.

Qualifications

Four-year or five-year degree required.
Strong selling, communication and customer service skills.
Basic mathematical knowledge.
Familiar with word processing and spreadsheets.
Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance is an advantage.
Motorcycle driving is preferred.

Responsibilities

Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet customer needs.
Analyze loan applicants to determine feasibility of granting loans.
Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality.
Coordinate with officers and units related to processing and servicing loan applications.
Review and update customer loan files and loan agreements to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking.
Execute sales and marketing activities to achieve volume targets.
