Job summary

BDO Network Bank, the community bank subsidiary of BDO Unibank, is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. You will focus on achieving loan volume targets while maintaining profitability, sound credit quality, and strong customer service.

You'll actively solicit microfinance loan accounts, analyze applicants, initiate credit and collections, coordinate with units, review loan files, and drive sales efforts to hit target volumes.

Qualifications

• Four- or five-year degree required (Bachelor's degree accepted).
• Strong selling, communication, and customer service skills.
• Basic mathematical knowledge required.
• Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software.
• Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance is an advantage.
• Preference for motorcycle driving ability.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet customer needs.
• Analyze loan applicants to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts.
• Coordinate with officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients.
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking.
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities to achieve volume targets.
