Job summary

BDO Network Bank seeks an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to drive loan volume while maintaining profitability, credit quality, and customer service.

The role requires field visits, evaluating loan qualifications, initiating collections when needed, and coordinating with other units to process applications and service clients. Strong selling and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course or Bachelor's Degree holder.
• Possesses good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Must be amenable to doing field work / working on the field on an almost daily basis.
• Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
• Familiar with computer software including word processing & spreadsheets.
• With fieldwork and sales experience on Microfinance, an advantage.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts by field visits to meet customer needs.
• Analyze overall loan applicant qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts.
• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients.
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking.
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets.
