Job summary

BDO Network Bank is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. You will aim to achieve loan targets while maintaining profitability, sound credit quality, and exceptional customer service.

The role involves actively soliciting microfinance loan accounts, evaluating applicants, coordinating processing, and executing sales activities to hit volume goals. On-site work with strong emphasis on field activity and client interaction.

Qualifications

• Graduates with at least a four- or five-year degree.
• Strong selling, communication and customer service abilities.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Familiarity with word processing and spreadsheet software is preferred.
• Fieldwork or sales experience in microfinance is a plus.
• Ability to ride a motorcycle is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet customer needs.
• Analyze applicants to determine feasibility of loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality.
• Coordinate with officers or units for processing and servicing loan applications.
• Review loan files and agreements to ensure adequacy for processing and booking.
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities to achieve volume targets.
