Job summary

BDO Network Bank, a subsidiary of BDO Unibank, seeks an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to achieve loan targets while preserving profitability and credit quality, and providing excellent customer service.

The role involves soliciting MSME loans, evaluating applicants, coordinating loan processing, and executing sales activities to hit volume goals, with fieldwork and potential motorcycle use noted as advantages.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree program.
• Strong selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Basic mathematical knowledge.
• Familiar with Word processing & Spreadsheets.
• Fieldwork and microfinance sales experience is a plus.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts to meet the business needs of the customer.
• Analyze overall loan applicant’s qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts.
• Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients.
• Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking.
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets.
