Job summary

BDO Network Bank is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to drive loan volume while maintaining profitability and strong credit quality. You will engage in field visits, assess applicant qualifications, and coordinate processing with relevant units to ensure smooth loan servicing.

The role requires daily field work, solid math skills, and strong selling and customer service abilities.

Qualifications

Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree course / Bachelor's Degree Holder.
Possesses good selling, communication and customer service skills.
Must be amenable to doing field work / working on the field on an almost daily basis.
Must have basic mathematical knowledge.
Preferably familiar with computer software including word processing & spreadsheets.
With fieldwork and sales experience on Microfinance, an advantage.
Preferably can drive a motorcycle.

Responsibilities

Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts by doing field visits to meet the business needs of the customer.
Analyze overall loan applicant’s qualifications to determine feasibility of granting loans.
Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality of accounts.
Coordinate with concerned officers and/or other units related to processing and servicing of loan applications and loan clients.
Review and update customer loan files, loan agreements, etc. to ensure adequacy for credit processing and loan booking.
Execute sales and/or marketing activities that will achieve volume targets.
