Job summary

BDO Network Bank is seeking an Account Officer for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises to achieve loan targets while maintaining profitability, sound credit quality, and strong customer service.

You will actively solicit loan accounts through field visits, analyze applicants, and coordinate processing with concerned units to ensure timely loan booking and adherence to credit standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of any four-year or five-year degree.
• Good selling, communication and customer service skills.
• Willing to do field work almost daily.
• Basic mathematical knowledge.
• Familiar with word processing and spreadsheets.
• Fieldwork and sales experience in microfinance is an advantage.
• Preferably can drive a motorcycle.

Responsibilities

• Actively solicit microfinance loan accounts by field visits to meet business needs.
• Analyze loan applicants to determine feasibility of granting loans.
• Initiate credit and collection activities to ensure credit quality.
• Coordinate with officers/units related to processing and servicing loan applications.
• Review and update customer loan files for credit processing and booking.
• Execute sales and/or marketing activities to achieve volume targets.
