Lean Solutions Group in the Philippines is seeking a dynamic Logistics Coordinator - Carrier Sales with McLeod experience to drive growth by expanding the carrier network and coordinating end‑to‑end freight movements from pickup to delivery.
You will negotiate rates and lanes, source new shipper accounts, track shipments in real time, ensure compliance and documentation, and collaborate with accounting on billing and collections.
Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic Logistics Coordinator - Carrier Sales (McLeod Experience) to serve as the vital link between shippers and carriers. In this role, you will drive business growth by prospecting new clients, building a robust carrier network, and managing the end-to-end coordination of freight movements. You will negotiate rates, track shipments in real time, and ensure seamless execution from pickup to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Outbound Activity: Maintain high daily productivity by making multiple carrier calls and managing load postings.
Business Development: Source, onboard, and nurture strong relationships with new shipper accounts, trucking companies, and owner-operators through targeted outreach.
Rate & Lane Negotiation: Negotiate profitable and competitive rates and lanes with customers while securing reliable carrier capacity.
Freight Matching & Coordination: Match available loads with the right carrier partners based on cost, equipment, and service quality. Schedule and coordinate timely pickups and deliveries.
Shipment Tracking & Compliance: Monitor shipments in real time, proactively resolve transit delays, and ensure all carriers meet strict safety, insurance, and regulatory standards.
Documentation & Logistics Admin: Utilize McLeod TMS and major load boards to post and manage shipments. Ensure all paperwork—including rate confirmations, BOLs, and invoices—are accurate and complete.
Market Awareness & Collaboration: Keep a pulse on trucking market trends, capacity shifts, and seasonal fluctuations. Work closely with the accounting team to streamline billing and collections.
Qualifications:
Technical Expertise: Proven experience using McLeod TMS is highly preferred, along with familiarity with major load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop).
Industry Experience: 1–3 years of experience in freight brokerage, carrier sales, logistics, or dispatching is preferred (but open to strong candidates).
Core Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills with a strong ability to solve problems under pressure.
Mindset: Highly organized, customer-service oriented, and driven to thrive in a fast-paced logistics environment.
