Qualifications

The Carrier Sales / Truck Finder representative is responsible for sourcing truck capacity, negotiating rates, building carrier relationships, and managing freight execution. This role focuses on ensuring freight is covered efficiently while maintaining strong service levels and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• - Source and secure truck capacity for customer freight


• - Post available loads on company load boards and general platforms like DAT


• - Negotiate competitive spot and contract rates with carriers to optimize profitability


• - Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with North American carriers and owner-operators


• - Assist with carrier qualification, compliance, documentation, and onboarding setup


• - Monitor market conditions, carrier capacity, and lane pricing trends to adjust procurement strategies


• - Track and trace shipments proactively from pickup through delivery, resolving any service disruptions

Required Qualifications

• - Minimum 2 years of carrier sales, truck dispatching, or freight brokerage experience


• - Proven ability to source capacity, screen loads, and cover freight successfully in a high-volume environment


• - Strong proficiency with load boards, specifically DAT and Truckstop, as well as modern Transportation Management Systems (TMS)


• - Exceptional negotiation and communication skills with a strong phone presence for outbound calling


• - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle high-pressure scenarios, and manage multiple logistics priorities
