ASYA GLASS PHILIPPINES INCORPORATED is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee and optimize logistics operations, including stock transfers, transportation scheduling, and 3PL coordination. You will manage inventory movement, vehicle allocation, and compliance with policies and regulations to ensure timely order fulfillment.
The role requires hands-on experience in stock movement, scheduling, and logistics software, with a focus on cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and optimizing logistics operations, including stock transfers, transportation scheduling, third-party logistics (TPL) coordination, inventory movement and order fulfillment. This role ensures the efficient flow of goods, vehicle management, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the Logistics Coordinator plays a critical role in improving cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Plans and schedules daily transportation logistics, ensuring timely stock transfers and deliveries.
Manages vehicle allocation for both company-owned and third-party logistics (TPL) providers.
Coordinates with the motor pool team to schedule vehicle maintenance and minimize downtime.
Ensures efficient routing to optimize delivery schedules and reduce operational costs.
Prepares and verifies Stock Transfer Requests (STRs) to accurately document stock transfer and movements.
Collaborate with Warehouse Coordinator and Stock Inventory Controller to ensure accurate stocks availability and timely order fulfillment.
Conducts root cause analysis for delivery discrepancies, including damages, breakages, and missing items; collaborates with Receiving Branch and third-party logistics to implement timely and effective corrective and preventive actions.
Communicates with third-party logistics providers to coordinate deliveries and backload operations.
Ensures all logistics operations adhere to government regulations, company policies, and safety standards.
Monitors and reports on logistics performance, vehicle usage, and shipment accuracy.
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required if experience compensates).
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation planning, supply chain management, or warehouse operations.
Hands-on experience in stock movement, shipment coordination, and third-party logistics (TPL) management.
Strong background in inventory tracking, scheduling, and logistics software.
Experience in process optimization, compliance with government permits, and cost management in logistics operations.
Relevant certifications in logistics operations, warehouse management, or supply chain processes are an advantage.
