Onward Worldwide Management & Consultancy is seeking an Inventory Clerk to maintain accurate asset records in storage and warehouse, combining admin and physical inventory tasks. You will tag assets, monitor records, and report in line with company policies and audits.
The role requires reliable, detail-oriented individuals with 1–2 years in inventory management and proficiency in Google Sheets, with physical tasks and outdoor work as needed.
We looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented individual to join as an Inventory Clerk. This role is critical to maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all company assets and inventory items kept in the storage room and warehouse. It combines both administrative and physical inventory responsibilities, ensuring that assets are properly tagged, monitored, and reported in compliance with company policies and audit standards.
Conduct random weekly asset inventories and semi-annual scheduled inventories in storage room and warehouse
Perform scheduled inspections, cycle counts, and asset pullouts at other project sites or locations as required
Carry out monthly inspections and inventory checks of assets across all departments to verify completeness and accuracy
Prepare detailed inventory inspection reports after each audit or check, using the company's approved report template or as directed by the immediate superior
Accurately record all asset transactions in the Google Sheets tracking system, including Asset Requests, Returns, Transmittal/Transfer Forms, and Accountability Forms
Scan and link all signed or approved documents to the corresponding entries in the asset monitoring system for traceability
Tag all fixed assets with tagging number or identification labels as required by the asset management process
Ensure the storage room and warehouse are kept clean, organized, and secure at all times
Verify that storage areas are locked and secured at the end of each working day
Assist the immediate superior in scrap selling or asset disposal processes, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policy
At least a vocational course graduate or college degree holder (Business Administration, Logistics, or Office Management preferred)
Able to lift or move equipment weighing 5-10 kilograms
Must be able to work both indoors and outdoors, occasionally exposed to dust, dirt, and sunlight
Strong, confident, and assertive personality suitable for coordination with different departments
1-2 years of relevant experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or asset control, ideally in a fast-paced environment (preferred)
Proficient in Google Sheets and basic record management tools for asset documentation (preferred)
Knowledgeable in the 5S methodology for storage room organization: Seiri (Sort), Seiton (Set in Order), Seiso (Shine), Seiketsu (Standardize), and Shitsuke (Sustain) (preferred)
Highly dependable, detail-oriented, and accountable, with a focus on maintaining accuracy and data integrity in asset records (preferred)
Can work independently with minimal supervision and perform effectively under pressure or tight schedules (preferred)
