Job Summary
The Inventory Controller is responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper stock levels, and coordinating the movement and availability of materials. The role supports efficient inventory management by conducting regular stock monitoring, reconciliation, and coordination with warehouse and operations teams.
Monitor and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, stock movements, receipts, and issuances.
Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile actual stock against inventory records.
Track incoming and outgoing materials and ensure proper documentation of all inventory transactions.
Monitor stock levels and identify shortages, excess inventory, damaged items, and discrepancies.
Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and operations teams regarding material availability and inventory requirements.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and organization of inventory items.
Prepare inventory reports, stock summaries, reconciliation reports, and other related documentation.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, and critical materials and provide timely reports to concerned teams.
Assist in implementing inventory control procedures and maintaining accurate documentation.
Support audits and inventory checks by providing accurate records and supporting documents.
Ensure inventory transactions are properly recorded in the relevant systems or databases.
Perform other inventory-related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
At least 1–2 years of relevant experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or stock management.
Experience handling construction materials is an advantage.
Good knowledge of inventory monitoring, stock reconciliation, and inventory control procedures.
Proficient in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory records.
Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong coordination and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple inventory-related tasks.
